Welcome to Cognitive Horizon. By accessing or using our AI-powered educational platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

These terms apply to all users of ssitpl.helioho.st, including students, parents, and visitors.

Cognitive Horizon is an AI-powered tutoring platform designed exclusively for educational purposes, specifically for Bangladeshi students following the NCTB curriculum from Class 1 to Class 10.

• The platform is intended for legitimate academic learning and homework assistance
• Content is tailored to the Bangladesh National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB)
• AI responses are generated to assist learning, not to replace proper classroom education

To use certain features, you must create an account:

• You must provide accurate information including your real name and valid email address
• You must select your correct class level (Class 1–10) for appropriate AI tutoring
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is not permitted
• Students under 13 should have parental awareness when creating an account

Our AI tutoring responses are generated by large language models. Please note:

• AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• Always verify important information with your textbooks and teachers
• AI answers should supplement — not replace — your classroom learning
• We continuously improve accuracy using NCTB textbook knowledge base
• For final exam preparation, consult your teachers and official study materials

You agree NOT to use Cognitive Horizon for:

• Academic dishonesty (submitting AI-generated work as your own without disclosure)
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Overloading our servers through automated requests or bots
• Sharing your account credentials with others
• Posting or transmitting harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or copy our systems

Cognitive Horizon is currently provided as a free educational service:

• We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future
• Rate limits may apply to prevent system abuse (fair use policy)
• Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance
• We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

All platform content, design, logos, and code belong to SSIT / Cognitive Horizon:

• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our platform design or code
• NCTB curriculum content integrated into our knowledge base is used for educational fair use
• Your own questions and conversation history remain yours

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Cognitive Horizon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any educational outcomes or exam results
• We are not responsible for third-party AI provider downtime or errors
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for any premium services (currently zero, as the service is free)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in abusive behavior toward the system
• Have been inactive for more than 12 months

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangladesh.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform.
